We DO NOT allow anyone who is pregnant or who may think they are pregnant on our Segway PTs. While the odds are VERY VERY high that all participants will enjoy a safe and trouble-free ride, we do have this one non-negotiable when it comes to the safety of potential tour participants.

Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the tour start time to sign waivers, get fitted for helmets, watch a safety video and train on the Segway.

Yes, there weight limitations for our Segway PT’s. You must weigh at least 100lbs. for the Segway to turn on. The maximum weight for a participant is 280lbs.

While we don’t have an age requirement, we do require that anyone under the age of 18 has a parent/guardian 21 or older go on the tour with them.

Unfortunately, no. We are not able to rent Segways out by the hour at this time. Our Segway PT’s are only for our guided Segway PT tours.

While there are no specific requirements for riding a Segway, we recommend attire and shoes that are comfortable and suitable for the weather.

We offer a variety of team building events with our Segway PT’s. We can do them at our location, or bring the Segway PT’s to you. Please, email info@chattanoogasegwaytours.com with your needs and we will help you plan an unforgettable team building adventure.

We say that if you can stand up straight for an hour and climb two flights of stairs without help, you can ride a Segway PT. We have had guests in their 80s ride with confidence. It usually takes 10 minutes at most to learn to ride a Segway PT. However, if you do have health conditions or take medications that may cause dizziness, light-headedness, or otherwise inhibit your ability to move, a Segway tour may not be the best choice for you.

We recommend bringing water or purchasing some from our shop for your tour. Each Segway PT has a small bag to carry a water bottle and a small personal item. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet.

Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of OPERATOR cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows and those contacting us inside of the 24-hour cancellation window will be charged the full price.
